Snowmen, Snowdrops and More

Picture
This is a snowman that I painted a few years ago and even after all this time, it still makes me smile!

Way up here on the Gaspe Coast of Canada, it gets very cold in the winter. And yes we get snow.
In fact we get lots of snow and it gets cold and it blows and drifts and snows one storm after another.
It can start snowing anytime from mid-October and can keep right on snowing into the month of April. So as kids, we grow up building snowmen and no matter how old we get, we still enjoy rolling those big heavy balls of snow and stacking them on top of one another and dressing them up in hats and scarves.
In fact it is one of my most favourite things about winter.
Which is why I like to make snowmen and tell stories about them.

I will be adding more snowmen to my Etsy Shop at www.maggiesinn.etsy.com

Or if you would like to buy one, send me a message telling me which one that you want and we can arrange an approximate time for you to stop by the Inn to pick it up.

To order by mail, please contact me  here and I will send you the mailing cost for your destination. All payments can be made in cash here at the Inn or by Interac e-transfer bank deposit.

If you are interested in having one or have any questions, just let me know by sending me a message.

Thank you for visiting my little Maggies Inn shop and do come back again!

A Woolly Little Snowman
The perfect little snowman to spend the winter with. It has been made out of a beautiful old wool blanket that came an old country Bed and Breakfast that closed its doors last summer.

It is filled with non-allergenic fibrefill stuffing, has a polar fleece hat, clay nose and soft wool scarf.
It is 11 inches tall as as cute as can be in its little red mittens.

Each one comes with a Fun Book of Snowman Sayings.
There's always room for an extra snowman in your life!

20.00$

Snowdrops  10.00$
These little snowdrops are all hand knit using Canadian wool. They measure approx. 5 inches tall and they are filled with quality fiberfill.  They have safety-locked eyes and are wearing hand knit little hats and scarves to keep them warm!  These little Snowdrops make great stocking stuffers, little gift exchange items and pocket pals for kids.
They can also be used as ornaments or Christmas tree sitters.  And each little Snowdrop comes with its own little watercolour gift card made here at the Inn, which makes them great for gift-giving.
