Morning Stories
So to my Rugosa rose bush I went yesterday to pick its rose hips. I have let this rose bush grow big and wild so that it produces all of these juicy big red and fruity hips in the fall.
The Rugosa grows the biggest and the sweetest hips and they are what I use with my calendula to make my make my natural face and body moisturizer. Their rich oils are full of fatty acids, vitamins, nutrients and antioxidants, which are easily and naturally absorbed into the skin to give it a healthy little glow. I also dehydrate some of them for my winter teas, which of course for me, is such a very good thing! .
